All,

   First of all let me introduce myself my name is chris and i am new to these forums. I have a question i am running fs2004 on a amd althon 64 fx-53, geforce fx 5900 256mb agp card and everything runs smooth except i have never not even once been able to use reverse thrust, i have downloaded several planes that are capable of using reverse thrust i was just owndering if anyone else has had this promblem or if they know how to fix it

Make sure you're using the correct key for reverse thrusters.  Sometimes we re-map things without even noticing.

I fugured it out it was my keyboard i had recently bought a web keyboard with like a million keys and it uses the f-keys for differnt functions so i had to re-mapp those thanks for the help though

On a defult settings, if you hold down F2 it reduces the throttle to idle then goes to reverse thrust.

ok thanks it worked for a couple minutes now it isn't working anymore so i don't know what is up

thats right but it will only go into reverse thrust once the wheels have touched the ground ;)

ok i figured it all out there is a button on my keyboard that turns on my f-keys and turns off my office keys which are the sam keys just the can be either so now it works ;)

*sigh* In my day we didnt have any of those fancy shmancy button-borads. I still remember getting the ol' paperclip out and punching in those 1's and 0's all night long.
Those were the days.

very simple 8)
      make sure that when you land, reduce the throttle fully at idle position and then press and hold F2. it will solve your problem. ;D
