Where is the dashboard-New install of FS 2004

I did a new install of Flight Simulator 2004. After install, I loaded the program. There is no dashboard with guages on it on screen. There is just black screen below with sky(blue) above. I selected other aircraft also, same thing. I tried uninstall and reinstall, same thing. I am very confused. FS 2002 never gave me this problem.

Download your latest video card drivers. Usually NVIDIA at www.nvidia.com

If don't know what card you have or you already have the latest drivers make sure the plane or installation has a panel folder.
