Noisy Baron Takeoff

Postby bcstover » Sat May 22, 2004 7:04 am

Does anyone know how to stop the terrible buzzing that usually occurs when on full power at takeoff on the default Baron 58?

Anyway-you can open the sound folder wich is located in aircraft folder, then find sound file of this terrible buzzing and replace it with any other from similar aircraft.Dont forget to rename the sound file properly...

Download and install a different sound package.

I have one described as Beech Baron 58 Sound Revision By Aaron R. Swindle, Skysong Soundworks. 1/14/2001

Unfortunately, I don't remember where I got it.  Probably here in the library.

I highly recommend the Baron sound update. I'm pretty sure it's here at SimV but it's likely in the Fs2002 section as that's what I was flying when I downloaded it. It's a lot better than the standard sound package. Gives the Baron a much deeper throatier sound. The 2002 version works just fine in ACOF.
