Help I screwed up

Postby stevewilson » Fri May 21, 2004 12:52 am

Ok I did it, don't know what or how, :( :(,  but the cfg file and the model file are gone from ny cessna 172 folder and when I go to fly I have a gray ac. 10 lases for me :'(

I've looked on the install cd disk 1 and could not find a file for the c172.

Can anyone help me find it on the disks so hopefully I can replace it in my program without having to do a complete reinstall.

Thanks Steve
Steve

Put CD1 in.
Explore this.
Open MSGAME1
Open Aircraft
Open c172

All the aircraft files for the 172 are there.

Just copy them into FS9/Aircraft/C172 ;)

Just delete the old c172 folder, located in the Aircraft folder within the FS9 folder, then extract the c172 folder from the CD and put it in the aircraft folder in the FS9 folder.

Edit: We just posted at the same time Ozzy.

HI-D

I'm really lost on this. In the msgame1 cab file I see the pic, sound, and air files, but no c172 folder. Am I missing something?

Steve

BTW: What I did to cause the problem in the first place was to install the d/l file C172rh. Eather there is something wrong with the file, OR I installed it wrong, most likely the later ;)

Steve just unzip the entire gameone cab into a dummy folder when it is through then open the folder and should see a aircraft folder with all the default aircraft in it.
just click and drag the c172 forlder over to FS\aircraft 8)
