Beechcraft Bonanza strange problem...

Postby Sterk » Fri Apr 30, 2004 10:23 pm

This question is to those, who already tried this great
Beechcraft Twin Bonanza plane, did you have such a strange problem that I have now with this plane...?

When standing on parking,or taxiing to active, all works as it should work, but when I'm on runway and starting to go for take off,all control surfaces, except ailerons stops working!I mean-rudder and elevators dont move(stop responding to joystick movements) and plane doesn't take off!
What is strange it happens only to Bonanza and only when I'm leaving parking...
Can scenery be reason of this, because it worked great before in another airport...

Have you checked the readme file and contacted the person who created the aircraft. they may have the answer.

You say that it only does it at one airport ???
Are you sure the auto pilot is not on  ??? Even with the auto pilot on you still would be able to steer the airplane while taxing. But once you pick up air speed the controls would lock up. I have never heard of scenery causing this and can not imagine how it could.

Sounds like the same plane I downloaded.
My problem is some guages do not show up.
They are referenced to standard guages. But won't show up ? ? ? ?

I tried to take off several times and I dont think
I turn autopilot on occasionaly several times...

Actually I check this plane in two airports-one is default and another is addon one...I'll check it in several other airports...

Sterk If this problem persists I think I would put it in the airplane grave yard. This is a strange problem and there may be some kind of problem in either the mdl file or the air file. I would not waste any more effort with this plane.I would make a mental note on the designer and be leary about downloading anything else from them. 8)

Wouldn't be too quick on the trigger about questioning the designer's talents. The developer is none other than Erick Dantes, so I doubt it is his aircraft that's the problem.

I'm flying it in FS2002 with no problems, even though it's an FS2004 bird.

Unfortunately, I don't have any useful suggestions as to the actual culprit, not ever seeing this specific problem before. When all else fails, ya can reboot :) In this case D/L the pkg again and reinstall from scratch. Something may have been corrupted in the original load.

It is quite a nice bird and there are several nifty repaints out.

Agree, racatron, this is great plane-that's the reason I try it again and again...
Anyway I send email to Eric two day ago and still there is no answer... ???

Interesting, never heard of something like this.

A possible reason can indeed be the gauges, but Im no expert.
