Hi Eskimo,
I had that happen at Algiers, DAAG. Landed my Baron, exited runway, held for 747 taxiing to runway and he turned into my exit to get to runway.
With AFCAD, found it was because there was no designator for the normal runway entryway. Because of this Ground was forced to make the runway part of the taxi route, which happened to include the taxiway I was sitting on. Added the missing designator and solved that problem.
But that was not the only problem. Due to taxi patterns there, I had to pull off the taxiways no less than 3 times to let heavys pass before getting to my gate

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
