Afterburner key (Shift+F4)

Postby Gixer » Sat Apr 24, 2004 5:18 am

Was playin around with my C208 amphib yesterday.  I have made it a little faster and more manouverable (I know its prob not realistic but I'm just experimenting)

I was thinking of trying to make it so that maybe you could get an extra kick of power just for t/off on short strips.  I see there is an Afterburner key in the attributes (Shift+F4)  Now I have never had to use this key???   Is it there due to the fact Concorde used to be in the game?  If not how does it work and does anyone know how to activate it on an aircraft?

Kinda like wanna give the 208 a JATO system hehehehe.  ;D

:) ;) :D

GIXER

P&W engines for Cessna 208 got something called auxiliar power, in fact, it's something like military full power, ie, for a few seconds this engine can produce "110%" of power, it's a reserve for emergential situations, that's it!

cya!
