Why does CFS2 look better?

Why is it in CFS2 the Corsair looks like this:



and in FS2004 it looks like this:



and more importantly, how do you fix it?

In FS9 settings under dispaly tab/Aircraft make sure global aircraft quality set to high(wont go to ultra high)
and in display/hardware tab make sure global textures is set to massive

Yup, did that...

Hmm not sure
But for refrence here is the F4u straight from cfs2 to fs9

Maybe a video driver prob or settings???

Problem solved.  It was the texture size...
