Yes, I have had it work on a Win98SE, PIII, 600 Mz. with 512 Mg. RAm system with a Nvidia GEForce 32mg. card. I'm not sure if the Ram made the difference. Also, no point in going higher with the Ram as Win 98 does not recognize anything higher. :)

It'll work but it won't be great and you'll need a lot of stuff turned down. I started flying ACOF on Windows 98 but when I switched to Windows XP it made a huge difference because XP utilizes memory a lot better than 98.

Like buttercups said RAM is essential. 512 mb for Windows 98. I'd suggest 1 Gig if you use XP.

;)

Hi

I am running ( no..trying to run ) FS9 on my trusty Celeron 700, 512 ram and ATI 7200 card.

We got the Champagne out tonight, when for one awespelling moment we got up to 2 frames per sec.

I really think this version needs a good set. What I have seen on mine I would think would be fantastic with the pucker gear. ;)

Seriously, I can have sliders up to about halfway on some settings, but we stutter around. Addon scenery, apart from UK2000 (Gary Summons) is a definate No, No on my setup. Yet with FS2002 this set does brilliantly, I have stacks of addons and sliders up and dynamics.
