water effects for float planes?

does anybody know where or what a person can add for water splashes for a addon plane like a grumman goose. the plane is great and floats nice but no water effects. any ideas?

Check to see if the aircraft.cfg file has a section like this:

[EFFECTS]
wake=fx_wake
water=fx_spray
dirt=fx_tchdrt
concrete=fx_sparks
touchdown=fx_tchdwn_s, 1

If not copy/paste this into the file and "Save", not "Save As".

The aircraft.cfg file can be opened in Notepad.

If you look at the default float plane aircraft cfg. file you can copy the section on efects to your addon aircraft. Then Save do not use Save AS.
