How to edit all traffic at one airport?

Adding Aircraft Traffic, airport gates, etc, to your Sim - AFCAD, TTools, Project AI, AI Aircraft, etc

How to edit all traffic at one airport?

Postby Kimchoc » Sun Oct 05, 2008 3:59 pm

Does a program exist that I can look at all AI traffic at a specific airport and then edit some types out that I do not want? I am familiar with TTools and all of the functions of a traffic.bgl

Thanks,
GLB

When you run TTOOLS it makes three .TXT files one named aircraft one named Flight Plans and the other named airports The one you want to look at is the Flight plans file below is a sample.
AC#45,N24680,20%,8Hr,IFR,00:35:16,03:43:43,290,F,5119,KLEX,04:35:13,07:43:39,300,F,5118,MMPB
AC#28,N69080,52%,6Hr,VFR,01:14:11,03:28:39,065,F,7545,ESNX,04:14:08,06:28:37,075,F,7544,ENAT
AC#44,N69016,25%,12Hr,IFR,01:51:16,06:47:28,320,F,7668,ESNX,07:51:21,12:47:33,310,F,7669,UTSB
The names in red above are the departing and arriving airports .

The only problem here is the files are not in any kind of order How ever you might be able to use Microsoft accell and then you would be able to sort it all kinds of ways.
I hae never tried this and it might not work But if you really wanted to you could print the file then put it int accell manually but it would take a while to enter all of the lines, but i would just enter the AC# and the departing airport and arriving air port it would go a lot quicker that way. 8-)

Damn!!!!  Nicely done. I've perused it a bit and it appears to do exactly what I'm looking for.

Thanks a bunch,
