World of AI (i need help!)

Ok, i have just found this ai traffic free addon called World of Ai. It looks pretty good, even for it being free. What im having trouble with is installing the package. I have downloaded the installer, and i have read the installer directions. Now when i want to get a package, it goes to the avsim library and i guess i am supposed to download it. After i have downloaded it, i am confused on what to do next. What am i supposed to put down as the file that i want to install in the installer? everytime i put the file into the area that i want to install, i can get to the 'accept terms' and alll that page but then once i have started dowloading i immediatly get a message saying it could not download some stuff. Heres what it says

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application witll ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately

Could not load file or assembly 'ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib,
Version=0.84.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=1b03e6acf1164f73' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified

Im not sure what that means, i dont know if im downloading the correct file or not. Or if i am even doing it right.
Help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Sounds like you did not 'install' the woai installer correctly. It cannot find the file 'ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll', which along with several other files must be in the same folder as 'WOAI Installer.exe'. (Should be 10 files in the folder.)

To 'install' the installer simply unzip the download (woains24.zip) to a folder of your choice. You then run 'woai installer.exe' from that folder or you can created a desktop shortcut.

You cannot run 'woai installer.exe' from within the zip file.

I had an error message similar to that before. What I did was uninstall the WOAI installer, then reinstall it. That worked for me, and has worked ever since.

ok, i think i forgot to install the .Net framework, so i tried to install that, but now im getting a message saying that the version that it wants me to install is incompatible with the previous one i installed, and i didnt even know i had installed one. I have windows xp btw

maybe i have to uninstall the previous one.

thats strange. I too had a similar problem. I had an old .NET framework version, and needed to update. So I went to the MS site and got the latest version. I was able to install it even tho it skipped 1 or 2 other versions. Dont know why... but it worked for me.

i downloaded frame rate 3.5 and that worked
I put WOAI installer into a different folder and it still does not work. I cant even start it

It says something about windows security. I have the option of continueing but that error report screen pops up forcing me to end it. Plus, if i ignore the report error screen and click continue it gets stuck on the first thing u see when you open the installer. it doesnt seem to be my firewall. It might be, but it didnt seem like it

The problem is that it wont let me install 2.0 because it says it is incompatible with the old one. I downloaded 3.5, and it still doesnt work.

Really hope somebody can help.

Uninstall the .NET framework 1.0, and then install 2.0. For some reason they are incompatible.

ok, i put it into a different folder and it started to run, then i try to download the file into it but it still does not work.  Maybe i am putting the wrong code in?

I went to the uninstall clean up website and the 3rd download down worked, but ended as soon as i clicked "run"

Is there another way to uninstall .Net 1.0?

Yay!! I finnally got it to work. My frame rates are actually a lot better, but there is less traffic at my home airport (KCAK). At least i know its working, thanks for the help to all who helped!
