For the 727-100 and -200 models you can check out www.ai-aardvark.com

For the Airbus models and MD-11 you can search for the FSPainter models on Avsim.com, they have most of the ones you'll need including the repaints.

I remember reading somewhere online that FedEx takes an aggressive "dim view" on the simulation use of it's liveries and flight schedules.  They supposedly did a 'cease and desist" on the Virtual FedEx airline that existed at one time.  That's probably why PAI shies away from packaging one up.

Just get the right low poly count aircraft and some FedEx repaints to stick on them and AITrafficMover or TTools and create your own flights.  I THINK PAI has some FedEx repaints in the "unofficial" files area for their models.

best,

....john

Thanks .I was thinkin they might have ...Im redoing the default KDSM afcad and just wanted to have a couple on the south cargo ramp, which by the way is way too small. UPS has 8-10 aircraft(4x727,4x757,2x767) on it along with the 2 fed ex 727's

guess they prefer movies in which their planes crash into the pacific to letting us use their logo in a sim

Maybe FedEx is afraid of virtual terrorists finding out their virtual flight schedules in order to aim a virtual rocket laucher at......you get the point.

Re: Fed EX AI Fleet? - got answers

I asked the same question. Went to Project AI. http://discuss.projectai.com/index.php?topic=42581.0

If the link to the discussion does not work it is in the forum section of Unofficial Repaints & Packages the discussion was started by big_al and I'm Highfive. Here is some of the best info I got from this discussion.

Ok,
the textures are for the FS Painter (FSP) and AI Aardvark (AIA) models, so first of all you you need the base models:

FSP A300 with PW & GE Engines:
http://www.fsrepaints.de/

FSP A310 with PW & GE Engines:
http://www.fsrepaints.de/

FSP DC-10 (aka MD-10):
http://www.fsrepaints.de/

FSP MD-11:
http://www.fsrepaints.de/

AIA Boeing 727-100:
http://www.ai-aardvark.com/aiaircraft/r ... 7_100.html

AIA Boeing 727-100:
http://www.ai-aardvark.com/aiaircraft/r ... 7_200.html

Now you can install the textures in the specific aircraft folder. Textures for A300, A310, 727-100, 727-200 and MD11 are located in "FedEX Repaints 1.zip", textures for the DC10 (MD10) in "FedEX Repaints 2.zip"
An Instructions for the texture install is in the tutorial. Please be careful and use the correct tilte (it must be the same as in "Aircraft_BFP's_Sept04_FedEx_D.txt.txt"
A panel or sound folder is not necessary, because they are all just AI planes.

Now its a little tricky. You have to modify the
"Aircraft_BFP's_Sept04_FedEx_D.txt.txt". You have to add the speed and the "...":

for example:

AC#691 - Federal Express Boeing 727-100F

to > AC#691,460,"Federal Express Boeing 727-100F"

// Federal Express
AC#691,460,"Federal Express Boeing 727-100F"
AC#692,460,"Federal Express Boeing 727-200F"
AC#693,460,"Federal Express Airbus A300F GE"
AC#694,460,"Federal Express Airbus A300F PW"
AC#695,460,"Federal Express Airbus A310F GE"
AC#696,460,"Federal Express Airbus A310F PW"
AC#697,460,"Federal Express Boeing/McDonnell Douglas DC-10-10F & DC-10-30F"
AC#698,460,"Federal Express Boeing/McDonnell Douglas MD-10-10F & MD-10-30F"
AC#699,460,"Federal Express Boeing/McDonnell Douglas MD-11F"

Save the modified "Aircraft_BFP's_Sept04_FedEx_D.txt.txt". Now you can compile the Flightplans with TTools.

And last but not least put the "AF2_KMEM.bgl" in your Addon Scenery / scenery folder.

Sorry for my English, but I hope it helps you a bit.

Chris
