Adding Aircraft Traffic, airport gates, etc, to your Sim - AFCAD, TTools, Project AI, AI Aircraft, etc

Nothing Fancy

I don't want to tinker with airports and such, but I want FS9 to use different planes in the existing (default) traffic patterns.  AFCAD?

Get TTools 202 by Lee Swordy

Sample flightplan:
AC#2,MXWJN,10%,12Hr,IFR,17:59:53,11:22:07,280,F,0105,MMAA,11:39:58,12:02:12,210,F,0156,MMSD

Change #2 to any (similar) aircraft in your aircraft_XX.txt file then Compile

Hmm...  Let me rephrase that.

Is there an easy way to add planes?  All that looks a little involved.  Plus I just want to slap the planes in, not create flight plans or anything. :-[

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
