Wondering about AI traffic...

Postby bm_727 » Mon Dec 29, 2003 8:51 pm

I am ok with adding new aircraft, repaints, scenery, stuff like that-  But, the default AI traffic is getting a little boring.  I am tired of seeing the same old planes and liveries.

Can someone please tell me what this whole TrafficTools is about and/or what else u can do to add to/modify the default AI Traffic?  Also, I have seen add-ons that say "great for AI traffic"- whats that mean? ???

Please help- lol

the easiest route is the PAI auto installers.

Download the installer, then the airlines that you want to add and then install them.

If you want to add your own or other packages that people have create you will need TTools, it creates 3 text files.

this site is very helpful and I continue to go back to it for help
If there is an airshow with in 2 states of me I'm there

The other thing that PAI has is a de-installer that will remove the default AI traffic so after installing all the real airlines you want, you may want to remove the default Microsoft airlines like Orbit, etc.

Beware!  Once you get the hang of adding AI traffic, you stand a good chance of becoming addicted to the process!  I've spent the last week doing nothing but tinkering with AI traffic!  Not sure if I still know how to actually fly a plane!  Spend a lot of time at Project AI and read the forums.  Tons of good info and Tutes.
