AFCAD Problems

Postby fidji » Mon Jun 09, 2003 10:01 am

Hi Guys

Im Starting to mess with AFCAD and the problems began.
I add parking and ramp spots to some of my favorite airbases and airports, all went fine until I try to go to these airports by the "create a flight" menu, I chose them but it return always to my first airport. Fortunatly before Changes are made I have created some flights in those same airports, so, now the only way acess to this aiports is with my own flights. ???

I hope someone can help to discover why my "create a flight" menu don't work.

Many thanks to all ;)

When you downloaded AFCAD, it should have included an updated FSUIPC.dll file, along with directions on how to install it into your fs2002 Modules folder, thereby replacing the existing file of that same name.  If you haven't already done this installation, I would recommend doing it and then running fs2002 again to see if problem still occurs.

Otherwise (if you did install it), with a fs2002 flight in progress, you can open FSUIPC by clicking on "Modules" at the top of the window.  There you can check the GPS reposition setting (to see whether or not it is allowed) and determine if that might be causing the problem.

Good luck! :)

My next question would be:

Are you able to create flights at airports other than the ones you have worked on with AFCAD?

If this is the case, then something may have gone wrong when you saved your airports.  Hopefully (as is recommended in the manual) you made backup copies of the original AFCAD files before working on them.  Restoring the backups could also give clues that the AFCAD files you worked on did not save properly.

Just some thoughts............
