EU Air Bases - USA, NATO, RAF, etc

Postby idahosurge » Sun Apr 12, 2009 7:48 am

Does anyone know of a site that has FSX scenery for military bases in Europe?  I have anything to be found on this site, avsim and sim-outhouse and I was wondering if there are any other sites.  I would really like the airbase at Lakenheath in the UK and any USAF bases in Germany, Italy and any USN air stations in Europe.

Have a look at this: http://www.interkultur.de/gossmann/fsx/ukmil.php
It has FSX scenery for RAF Lakenheath and many other RAF bases such as Coningsby,Leuchars and Waddington to name a few.

There are a few RAF Lakenheath freeware packs available which contain the scenery and a flyable F-15.

Droptank, I was wondering if you could answer a question regarding the Lakenheath scenery from UKMil.  I would ask over there, but you have to pay money to post (join the club as they call it) and for one question I do not feel like paying 9.99 pounds.

Anyway the Lakenheath scenery folder has two subfolders scenery & texture. No problem with this I know how to add the Lakenheath folder to my scenery library.  The Lakenheath folder also has a file EGUL_ADE_H.bgl, where am I suppose to put this file or should this file have been in the scenery folder?

Does anyone have an idea where the EGUL_ADE_H.bgl file is suppose to go?

www.militaryaiworks.com has a great Lakenheath.

While these files were engineered for FS9 most of them also work in FSX.

Files come complete with AI aircraft and scenery in most cases.
