if anyone has seen "skycaptain and the world of tomorrow" u know what i mean.

i thought it would be kinda kool to land on something in midair

I guessing you mean the airship fleet that Angelina Jolie commands, right?

Why not try Lionheart Creations' Defense Platform?  It is basicly the same thing, it just doesn't move anywhere.
