YOU GUYS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! YOU'RE FORGETTING THE PELICAN!!!
High Flight Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings; Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared

I'll admit that having them around would be kinda cool, but the trouble is the flight dynamics.  It is just so difficult to get things like that to fly right that most people will either give up or retire the project for a later date: when we have directional thrust in FS!

well, yes the flight dynamics may not be realistic (VTOL, sideways movement) but at least we would have them. but i think they definitely would be a must if we ever get thrust vectoring!

There are a lot of Halo source files floating about on SimV. Pick one up and finish them yourselves. It's much more rewarding.

I was in fact going to try that, but realized that the detailed files were all Max 8.X or something, which is Gmax's big brother.  However, Gmax is unable to open a Max file, so the question is kinda moot.  I'm not shelling out a couple of grand to get that done.  Thanks, but no thanks . . . ;D
