where?!?!?!

Scenery, Utilities, Misc... Whatever else you would like to find for your FS or CFS Programs.

where?!?!?!

Postby lilley91 » Wed Jun 14, 2006 11:21 am

i downloaded the new bush flying scenery, the one with the off road race track aswell, and in the read-me it said that there was no AFCAD and therefore could only be found by going to a certain set of co-ordinates, but i cannot find out how to go to those co-ordinates, how to tell the sim to go to that spot.  >:( :(

could someone please explain to me how exactly i do this, or if it is not posible, can someone please tell me the location of a nearby airport and which direction to fly from there to get to the scenery.  ;)

thanks to any one who can help me

cheers
james

PS. i wasn't sure where to put this so feel free to move it mods/admins  ;)

Well, I believe you have to go to the map (I think you can only access that when you're flying) and type in the coordinates and click go or ok or something. Once you're there, you should probably save the flight so you can always get back to it by going to select a flight.

Hope it helps ;)

To go to a certain set of co-ordinates, set up at any airport, then press "Alt -> World -> Map"

You should see a window appear very similar to the following:

(Not sure who took this pic, but whoever did - I hope they don't mind me using it ;))

As you can see, there are two boxes called "latitude" and "longitude". In these boxes, you can copy and paste the co-oridnates in the readme and make your way there - however, if there aren't any co-ordinates in the readme, good luck with finidng the racetrack ;D

Just load up a flight James, then press "alt -> World -> Map" - in Flight analysis, I don't think you can type in co-ordinates, but going into the map you can. ;)
