Framerate friendly clouds+Finningley

Postby flyingbart » Wed Apr 06, 2005 8:22 am

Hello everyone does anybody know of some software that can be added to fs9 to make the clouds framerate friendly as when they are turned up frame rate drops. obviously  i know the settings can be adjusted but i thought i seen some software a few months ago on here that alows you to adjust the clouds. I run a p4 3ghz 9600xt radeon 1024 ddram. i suppose im being to picky with me frame rates but i like everything smooth dont we all.

Cheers flying bart

...mmm...think I saw that but as I remember it just used 2d clouds which are not as real as the 3ds...could be wrong but you can do that in the Sim.....commoner. ;)

..lol... if you can't get satisfaction with your specs then I'd go back to Sonic the Hedgehog..... ;D ;D

...Waiting for the new Donny airport myself....let us all know if you find it first eh?  ;)

See commoner I new you liked sonic the hedgehog ;D I had to turn my drawing distance down  alot this sim is harder on my system than any other game ever Doom3 or half life2 played why smoother. I had to sacrifice some stuff and well clouds was one.

I've been using framerate friendly 3D clouds which I DL'd from AVSIM.  If need be, I could upload them to my website for downloading.

Pretty depressing when a machine like THAT can't run this sim well out of the box!
