Moving Map

I am at work but want to try this when I get home. If anybody does, let me know how good it is?

There's not one ready calibrated for the UK as far as I know, but you can calibrate the maps yourself (all explained in the readme), although I haven't tried this yet.

I tried the program out last night, taking off from Miami Intl. found the amount of info on the maps quite amusing, I mean, it tells you where the golf courses are, also passed a College (which looks like a regular house in FS ;D), a couple of stadia and finally landed on Palm Beach.

Not much of a flight, but worth it to try this tool out ;)
I noticed a small drop in FPS (like maybe 1 or 2), which isn't too bad considering it's constantly rendering as you move ;)

I don't think I'll use it too much, I only get 10-15 FPS at the best of times :o

;D

Although, all things being equal, it's not a bad little add-on/in

Cheers,

Carl

Can someone put a valid URL  up for this?  Sounds interesting, but I can't seem to find it.
Great edit, Bob.

Google it.

So you can't use this if you don't have FSUIPC? That stinks, it's not really freeware then... :P
