Looking FS98 secnery

I what to download this Pearl Harbor mission for CFS1
but the instructions say i need the hawaii secnery from FS98 to play add I can't find it. If somebody could link it to me.

This would be the FS98 default scenery. I doubt you would find it posted anywhere. When CFS1 was first released many users also had FS98. When writing missions outside the CFS1 default theatre 3rd party mission designers found it convenient to use the FS98 default scenery as a background. Scenery doesn't affect the missions themselves & you can still play them without it installed. It might not look quite so good, that's all.

dang is there any way to use a different secnery.

I haven't been involved with CFS1 for some time but assume this mission includes some local scenery. It should work without the FS98 scenery as a backdrop

You could try the Hawaiian Islands scenery by Bill Potvin: www.cfsops.com/Scenery/Hawaii-Scenery.htm

The location of the runways in the Pearl Harbor missions would probably not match but you could fix that with a mission editor.

The Hawaii scenery and textures from FS98 are only 4 Mb zipped if you want to try it that way.

The Abacus Pacific Theatre addon for CFS1 has Hawaiian Island scenery also.
The benefit of having this addon is that you have the proper aircraft and even battleships in the scenery.
