well if I were very good at a hobby.... and enjoyed doing it all day....and people would suggest I'd could do it and get paid...so I could pay my bills and stop doing my apparently less joyful job...
Well I for sure would take the offer. I don't think getting paid for developing really good add-ons is such a bad thing.
I am very glad there's a lot of talented people who do it for free.  That doesn't mean others don't have the right to ask money for it. After all arrestor cables it absolutely brilliant.

What direction would that be? I think there's a lot of people profesionally involved in software development...is that a bad thing??
