I believe there's already a freeware SU-27 (pretty decent quality).

If you want carriers, I think I've seen some on SimV.

As for carrier-capable aircraft, I have not come across any so far.

I know of ONE carrier capable aircraft. It would be the beautiful IRIS S-3 Viking Package! Assign your tailhook, drop it on approach, and at touchdown watch it practically stop on a dime. Of course this is provided you have made a good approach to begin with. Kind regards, Jeremy

You need a Su-33 on a carrier... the Su-27 does not have the reinforced nosewheel and the tailhook
