Looking for a boat...

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

Looking for a boat...

Postby Groundbound1 » Sun Oct 03, 2010 7:49 pm

A good while ago (before a hard drive failure), I had a pleasure craft in my "hanger". I'm not sure if it was a Chris Craft or not, but it was definitely a wooden runabout type of boat like that. I have found a few that are similar, but not as good as the one I had. I do remember that it had an animated anchor if that helps.

Anybody seen one?

Don't know if you are looking for freeware or payware, FS9 or FSX,
but Deltasim has all of the above.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

I thought it was at first, but no. (I actually tried that one yesturday before I posted) Right style, but the one I'm looking for was a little bigger, didn't have that much chrome, and the stern didn't sweep forward like the Riva. If you like boats in your sim, it's certainly worth having though.

Got all of the FS9 freeware from them too. All fine models to be sure, but still not the one I'm after.

Thanks for the quick replies though fellas.

It was part of another package, and not available on it's own. THAT'S why I couldn't find it anywhere.

Thanks again for the replies fellas!

I'm just glad I found it! Was driving me nuts. It is still available, but I'm not sure about FSX compatability. It's not that it's anything spectacular really, I just couldn't find it.

OMG. Now I want that boat! Is it for FSX and is it still attainable?

Working in FSX: Nope.  Model displays, but no texture, just a black, non-reflective, non-shaded, shape.
