Wanted: A WORKING American Airlines 777

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

Wanted: A WORKING American Airlines 777

I KNOW! THESE PLANES ARE ALL OVER THE FSX DOWNLOADS!!!

Here's the problem, though, folks. I could only get ONE of those to work. The POSKY models didn't work because they were only SP2 compatible (Annoyingly enough, most of them are.). There were a few that weren't SP2, and they were made by other people, but they didn't work either. So I settled with one, and yes, I love it dearly, but... nothing works. I can't take it anywhere. the autopilot doesn't function, for exapmle. I've tried modifications, but they didn't work.

(I don't want people asking what is wrong with it-this is not a trouble-shooting topic.)

I must say I am really dissapointed. The American Airlines 777-200 is on my top ten list of most iconic commercial jets. I'm not saying it's first, but it is very; well... Iconic. And you can't say you don't agree with me, even if you don't think it's truly "iconic," you will still agree that it looks serioulsy Awesome!

I want to see an AA 777 that is truly operational, that is compatible with SP1, and one that is just cool. I'm not asking for a virtual cockpit, though I do have a POSKY 777 w/ a working VC and 2D, so I don't think it's too high of a request, right?

Love to see some thoughts and supporters on the topic. Looking forward to getting a serious offer.

The Posky aircraft are all FS9 models. They work fine for me in the FSX Demo.  I'm not sure why they wont work for you.

I realise you must have your reasons but if most of the aircraft you want are compatible with FSX + SP2 I have to wonder why you don't install it. However, I don't think it will have any effect on the autopilot.

QUESTION: Will the aircraft I have already download work in SP2? Should there be any major problems? If I finally have SP2, I can still download and use aircraft that say "only for SP1," right?

The Panel and VC came with a Delta old colors 777-200. it is not a full 777 panel, it was customized to be compatible.

I thank everyone for their time so far.

For the SP1 only planes, it will be a case by case issue.

Most of those planes are all FS9 and earlier port overs.

SP2 & Acceleration came out so quickly after sp1, that I don't believe that many addons were made to be sp1 only, and anything that was, was quickly brought to SP2 compliance.

I have already tried EVERY single AA 777 that you have suggested. I didn't get any of the ones you found to work. There is another one somewhere-I don't remember, but I know it's here; because, like I said, I already have it and I love it.

Thanks again everyone-I'll be looking into SP2 with some greater sincerity. Looks like it's the only option I've got, and, hey, I'll be able to get all of the POSKY ones!
