g views . Cessna Skymaster

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

g views . Cessna Skymaster

Anybody aware of a good 337 with wing views ?  I am one who simply does not enjoy simply flying an instrument panel around .  In real aircraft you see inside cockpit structure and wing views .
Thanks ,

FS2002 has VCs too.

Never seen an FS02 plane with one.

The default aircraft have them. Also some of the later genuine FS2002 models. The FS developers were slow on the uptake where the VC was concerned.

The only freeware C337 I know of is by Mike Stone. None of his aircraft have a VC.

I had not run across one with wing and cockpit views .  I am sticking with FS2002 because a programmer friend made my airport for me for my sim and doubt that it will work in another sim ?? I no longer fly , but his duplication is phenominal so I keep FS2002 .  It is just a dirt strip an nothing fancy , but is so much like when I got to fly for real out here in the country .
Thanks all ,

Sorry I can't help with the panel. I take it you've had a good search on Google?

Hi dependable Hagar ,

I have not searched except here at my favorite source .  I was looking for freeware !!  Not a big deal since I have sooo many great planes anyway .
Thanks ,

You could look in the FS2000 panels section. A lot of those have the extra side views. If you can find a panel with side views for another high-wing Cessna it wouldn't be much trouble to add these to the C337 panel.

Hagar ,

I just happened to think that the views would have to be specifically for the 337 .  I had one and you looked back at the wing .  It was unique amongst the Cessna family and a good airplane in their tradition of fine aircraft . Really rode soft on this rough ground .
Guess I'll just have to fly one of the 50 or so other planes I have in my sim !!!  Simviation has kept us well supplied with great aircraft !!!

I have told this story before , but have not had a PC for as many yrs. as most and was amazed when I got FS98 .  I thought I was ruining my eyes as I had to keep turning up the monitor , but  I had flown all night and was getting to be daylight !!! Did that several times .  When I discovered Simviation I could not believe what a treasure chest I had found and downloaded day and night .  I then began to worry that I would get a huge bill in the mail !!!!   HA!!!  FS2002 has been phenominal and have enjoyed flying so much with this sim .  Thanks to all of those who have given us such great planes to fly in our simulators .
Thanks ,
Jamie

Doesn't really matter as long as it looks right. It's all an illusion anyway. :)

Hope you find what you're looking for.

Your Airport might work in FS04 since most FS02 aircraft work well in FS04.

Hi Jet Black1 ,
I have a feeling it would work , but I am in so deep in FS2002 Pro , and am so pleased with it , that I hate to venture off .  I have a new PC and have not installed my airport yet , but shall .  If it is still all intact I think I'll contact Hagar to see about possibly making it available in Simviation .  Sebastian Roonlund in Finland is a well know young scenery programmer genius and did this for me .  He no longer contributes as he has graduated into a profession and has little time for anything else . He commented that he didn't mind if I shared it as long as he was mentioned . I'll check it out and contact Hagar in the next few weeks to let him take a look at it to see if it might work in the newer sim .
Sebastian did provide my airstrip with a low frequency aid ( 360 ) and an ILS ( 110.0 ) which I do not have in real life , but makes it easier to find and much more fun in the sim .  I am fairly sure of the frequencies , but will have to check that out too .  My place is located approx. 6 miles N.E of Mineral Wells , Texas .
