What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

GA

Hey

I was wondering if there are any good GA aircraft other than cessnas, beechs and cirrus?  I have a few good payware ones, from carenado and eaglesoft but are there any other different types around at all?

Cheers
Danny

Tried Piper? Carenado just released a Cherokee for FSX...

I recommend the Lionheart Bellanca Viking.

Beyond that fact that the term General Aviation, or "GA" doesn't have to only involve small prop planes, but can even encompass private 747s...yes they do exist.... here are some of my small GA recommendations, encompassing all corners of the globe:
This selection has planes from Russia, the UK, France, Canada, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Italy, and the US.

Antonov An-2:

Antonov An-14:

Search for "Veneaviones" here or at Avsim, for a nice Rockwell Turbo Commander 680B.

Search for the name "Milton Shupe" at any major FS site for his great works, such as the Spartan Executive, the Aero Commander Series, the Howard 500, and for your larger needs, the de Havilland DHC-7

These aren't really 'GA'...

But Flight 1 has a few payware planes, not sure how good they are though.

Pilatus PC-12 (Heard really good stuff about this!)

441 Conquest

Cessna 310

Piper Meridan

Many more too.

Those are certainly GA aircraft!! As I said earlier, the term "general aviation" is not limited to little single engine Cessna aircraft, but can involve anything that is privately operated. For example, Boeing's BBJ (Private jet 737) is considered a GA aircraft.
You can also have a 747 jet fall under the GA category...if you have enough money!  :)

I have the flight one Cessna 441, which by the way is most certainly GA!, and I love it.  I'm not sure I've ever seen that Falcon 50, but it will be on my download list tonight.
