John,
I am glad to see that I am not the only one looking for a freeware F-104!  I have been searching for years, and I do not think that a "good" freeware F-104 exists.  The only options are payware.  I too would love for a freeware designer to give the F-104 some of the attention that it deserves!

8-)

what got me thinking was when i watched the movie "the right stuff" the other week. that f-104 that yeagar crashed was a slick bird, no wing tanks, no bombs nothing, just all business! :D

it would be nice, i'll poke my nose around and see what happens!!

Ive got the F-104 from FS2004 running on FSX. I think the textures look pretty good, not great, but good. What I like the most is the sound. The engine sounds spot on!
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.
