Beaver and Beech 18

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

Beaver and Beech 18

Postby FLYING_TRUCKER » Tue Sep 25, 2007 6:25 am

Goodmorning all... :)

I downloaded the Viking Air Turbo Beaver (deep red colour) from the Simviation Flight Simulator X download site.
I do not see how the flaps work or where the controls for prop and mixture are.

As I am not a fan of glass cockpits and turbo aircraft I wonder if;
(1) There is a radial engined amphibian Beaver for Flight Simulator X?

(2) In Flight Simulator 2004 I had a beat up old radial engined amphibian Beech 18 which I believe had "something  about beans on the side of it" and I can not find it in the Flight Simulator 2004 downloads.
Does anyone know of this aircraft and can it be made to work in Flight Simulator X.

Comments and help will be most appreciated.   :)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

An educated guess is that you had the Milton Shupe & Co. Beech 18 http://www.simviation.com/fs2004props71.htm but I've no idea on the bean texture... might be worth asking Dave (Fly2e) as he has most of the odd textures available ;)
There is an FS9 DHC2 here at SimV. I'm not sure about compatibility.
