Stearman or Waco

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

Stearman or Waco

Postby RitterKreuz » Mon Jun 04, 2007 8:50 pm

I have searched SimV and the net high and low for a PT-17 Stearman specifically for FSX.

I located a number of models for FS2004/FSX that i have installed per the readme into FSX without any success.
I loved Dave's stearman... i used to fly it low and slow VFR at dawn until the fuel would nearly run out by dead reckoning and pilotage and stopwatch. but now i cant seem to get anything going in FSX.

any suggestions? even a waco would be great, any low and slow golden age biplane... just not fond of the Jenny or ww1 era stuff. 1935 to about 1950. for some reason i just dont get the same satisfaction with tooling around in the J3 Cub.

I didnt have any problems at all with this Stearman on my computer running FSX, its a lot of fun and I hope this works for you.

Cheers,
