Aerobatic freeware recommendations anyone?

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

Aerobatic freeware recommendations anyone?

Postby dcs1968 » Mon Feb 19, 2007 4:01 pm

Hello,

My wife bought me a aerobatic demo flight for christmas and it was fantastic. ;D 8-) Now I want to learn how to fly like that in FS9. My demo was in a Citabria. I would like to fid a good freeware one if possible or find another type of plane suitable for this type of flying. The default Extra is nice but alittle on the sensitive side. Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks for any input

Hello. I can't find a Citabria but there's a very nice Super Decathlon here. http://www.simviation.com/fs2004props7.htm

It's a while since I tried it. This is one of the better examples but I never thought the FS flight model was suited to aerobatics. Hope you like it.

The default Extra 300 is good, twitchy but good ;)
You might want to take a look at my Aerobatics tutorial (has a few plane recommendations) http://www.simviation.com/fshelp.htm it is on the right under FS2004 ;)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!
