Don't discount small file downloads.  Most aircraft that have small download sizes may be that way because they don't include large sound folders or texture files.  Give 'em a try.

And when you say taildraggers, I assume you are meaning non-military aircraft?  Because nearly every fighter from WWI to WWII and beyond were taildraggers.  There are exceptions, yes, but not many.

If you're partial to VC's, your choices will be a little more limited, but there are still a fair number out there that should fit your tastes.

On the small filesize thing.....Kaz ito's and Mike Stones planes are normally small sizes, but they are really good models.

fair play

by taildraggers i mean civil small propeller aircraft.

i know, but the thing is that i like to know the quality before i download, given that i then have to take it onto my memory stick and take that upstairs to install, this is not my FS PC, so when i look through, if i see a large file size of an aircraft im interested in i always think that it is likely to be good quality so i d/load.

any suggestions of taildraggers?

cheers

On the non-fighter kites I'd recommend the Warwick Carter Tiger Moth and the Rick Piper Chipmunk as MUST haves ;)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Milton Shupe's Howard 500
Milton's Beech 18

Those are two really good ones to have, as they are VERY well done (as all Milton's work is) and have superb VCs and flight dynamics.
