I believe what you're talking about is the Marchetti and there is one excellent package with a repaint by our own alphajet enthusiest. I'm having a little trouble finding it however but it's here.

One of the best versions I have flown (I think I've gone through them all!) in my opinion is the one available at Sim Outhouse.  Its the XP-38, which was the experimental version (right?), but it's so much fun to just doodle around in!
