As most people should know, except me of course, the aircraft that was won during this contest by fitter

#1 whats it called?
#2 does anyone know of a freeware one, or an aircraft with the same type of design.

I believe what you're talking about is the Marchetti and there is one excellent package with a repaint by our own alphajet enthusiest. I'm having a little trouble finding it however but it's here. :P

So you mean the P-38? There's a freeware one at SimV.

And don't worry about the blonde moment - I had one while reading your first post, as you can see by my first post in this thread ::) ;D

One of the best versions I have flown (I think I've gone through them all!) in my opinion is the one available at Sim Outhouse.  Its the XP-38, which was the experimental version (right?), but it's so much fun to just doodle around in!
