Hey, hope you all had a good xmas

i put a topic on about the merseyside police helicopter whether or not anyone knew where i could get one.  i got a reply, thank you, and the texture was from hovercontrol.com.  if you feel as though you can help me, go to www.hovercontrol.com and search for merseyside.  the textures for 4-5 police helicopters comes up then as one download.

if i still have your attention  :P

i downloaded that and then read the read-me file which gives you the information about where to download the aircraft from.  but..... its in a forign language and i am now stuck.   i would be grateful if anyone can help

For some reason the web page it refers to (www.fshubschrauber.de) is coming up with Error 404 - Not Found.

But you can still get repaints of Heiko's EC-135 on AVSIM that also include the original file, you should then be able to install the Merseyside textures onto it.  I'll be able to confirm that shortly, I'm downloading it now but it's 35MB.  Stay tuned...

Nope, that download is for the EC-135P2.

It does work with the EC-135P2 download (go to Avsim and search for EC135LL4.ZIP) but after doing the Merseyside Police installation, you need to make another edit to the aircraft.cfg file.  In the new texture, change this:

sim=EC OE-XEJ

back to this:

sim=EC D-HDRB

and it works fine.
