Repaint Request - Mooney

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

Repaint Request - Mooney

Hey folks,

I'd love it if someone could do a repaint of the default Mooney Bravo in my father's Mooney M20E's paint scheme?

I know absolutely nothing about repaints, so you'll have to type slow.

i've got the textures set up, now i just need to fathom which part is which (a major headache on default MS aircraft, less so on most 3rd party add-ons)

Blue / gray?? check your photo, im looking at a smart Black aircraft with red/white stripes.

If i havnt got back to you in a couple of days put a quick post on here and i'll make sure I remember to finish it

I have browsed through the textures folders before out of curiosity, and if you're talking about the strange looking .bmps (?), I can understand your problem.  I figured they had software that figured it out for you, and that there's no way anyone could manage it without software.   Ugh.

Good luck and thanks again.  I'll keep my eyes on the board, here.

I hoped there would be software to sort them out too, but no such luck!

That blue/grey pinstripe is a unique color.  I don't think the photo does it justice.  It's a little more blue than the photo shows, but still has a tinge of grey to it.

Can you just make sure we're looking at the right a/c here, because in the photo on the link above the aircraft is black.

Yeah, yeah......the black one.  But I'm referring to the 2 pinstripes down the fuselage & the tail, specifically the bluish/grey pinstripe.  That pinstripe is a unique color, and is slightly more blue (up close, in person) than what the photo seems to show.

The same color is used for the one of the square patches on the top ends of the wing that you can see in the photo.

Do you see what I'm talking about?

Yeah, that 'white' pinstripe......is actually a blue/grey color.  Sorry for the confusion.

Ouch.  I had a "Primary Master Hard Drive Failure" a few weeks back.  Replaced the hard drive,  got FS9 re-installed, and finally got around to requesting this repaint.

No worries, though.  I've gone through 3 versions of FS and never requested the repaint, so I'm sure I can wait a bit longer.    ;D

Unlucky on the hard drive, my router just decided to loose the username and password that it uses to connect to our ISP, so no internt, but the internal network was fine! I'll get back to the mooney as soon as I can. got a couple other jobs im juggling too (as always)
