Ok, here's my contribution:
Search over at Avsim for 'buffalo' - you will find a Comox AI package giving you a scenery and AI CC-115 & CP-140. You will also find a Buffalo for FS2002, which should be usable in FS2004 (especially if you use one of the add-on panels!).
The afore-mentioned Mike Stone (pmstone.com) also has a fairly decent CF-105 Arrow in his line-up.
If you can't stretch to the Aerial Foundry payware Hornets (although they are absolutely superb, one of my better recent purchases) searching here on SimV will get you Dein Reimer's FS2002 Hornets, which are still more than acceptable.
You are already aware of the CH-149 project, I for one can't wait! However, search on Avsim for 'labrador' and you will get a superb rendition of the recently retired CH-113; there is also a FS2002 CH-149 there, but that may well work in FS2004.
If you are looking for the CP-140 Aurora, there are a couple of options. Mike Stone (again!) does a decent P-3, and there are repaints available. For the ultimate, however, the FS KBT P-3 can't be beaten.
There will be a Bell 412 at Hovercontrol soon(ish) which can obviously be repainted into a CH-146 Griffon - there is a payware version available already at LZ, in Canadian colours, very low price from memory.
There is a Canadian Ice Recce Dash 7 over on Avsim; there are now two CT142 Gonzo's available, the Dreamwings one is probably slightly better. There is also a decent T-6A model available, and a repaint to turn it into a NFTC Harvard II.
I hope that little lot helps!
