I think the default one ;D

There aren't really much freeware dc-3's around....

There is of course the MAAM payware one which is excellent!!

For the default you can get loadsa repaints from many sites especially flightsim.com

The MAAM one does look great, which got me wondering if there were any freeware ones like it. Thanks though :)

The MAAM DC-3/C-47 is probably the reason there are no other DC-3 models around.

The default C-47/DC-3 is quite good, and with the MAAM around, it's almost pointless, since they've both raised quite the standard.

As a modeller, *I* would be hesitant to put out a DC-3 model, knowing that it will be instantly compared to the default (although *my* C-47 would fly identically :) ) and the MAAM models.  My tweak would be to maybe model one of the versions with the passenger door on the starboard side, instead of the port side, or maybe try one of the turboprop conversions, or even the shortlived tri-motor turboprop...
