How about the RAF's new ASTOR a/c?

Has anyone made a model of the new ASTOR Sentinel aircraft currently bieng tested by Raytheon?
If not, I think such a model would be very popular and I would eagerly await one. If anyone has plans to make this aircraft for fs2004 please let me know.

Short answer - no.

I haven't seen one - you're best bet would be to find a Bombardier Global Express and ask the designer if he'd care to modify it...

whats with the hump? I would think its radar or something but the aircraft seems to small to be an AWAC  ???

Yeh its going to be used for battlefield survelliance. The bumps house radars and antenna and there are a few Weapons systems operators (electronic warfare/acoustics) sat in the back. It's another one of the RAF's "cost reducing" schemes as they are reducing the size of the RAF significantly in the near future. And like most non-anglo aircraft designs borrowed by the RAF, they stick good old Rolls-Royce engines on it. Lol, typical.

Can't really call it cost reducing - the cost reducing option would be to continue to use US supplied data. Buying from Raytheon has meant we've got this aircraft very quickly compared to other procurement projects.
