Super Guppy

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

 Man, I have been wanting a super guppy forever, never could find one, not even for FS2002. I think I came across a real old one like for FS'98 or something.
Still no linked images allowed around here Paz! Naughty...

Great, I just scrambled the textures while trying to reduce the file size.

The GOOD news:
The file is smaller, so I don't need as good an upload rate to upload it.
:)

The BAD news:
It's going to take me a while to fix the textures.

What's the file size & how about a screen shot?  ;)

I'm going to give it to a friend, who's got a better connection, and he's going to do a quick beta-test, and then upload it. ;D

I'm still having problems, the first upload was rejected, so I started again. I've fixed most bugs, and she should be in beta by 01/12 at the latest.
There is a screenshot on my website:

I know you said you were not going to bother with FS2002 and only do one for that other sim but please reconsider...

Well... It will still work, the only difference will be that the GPS doesn't work on the panel, all you need to do is change a small amount of the panel.cfg file, just change the word fs9gps to gps, and it will work.

As for the guppy, I have only got one bug left to fix, as it keeps doing backflips on the apron.

The release will include:
A general 4-prop panel;
Turboprop sounds;
At least six liveries
12 AI flightplans;
And several flights.

PS:
I think I came across a real old one like for FS'98 or something.

It's for FS5, over at www.flightsim.com

GPS not a problem as I never use 'em (no point in FS2002).
I'm looking forward to it.   :-)

I seem to have it almost finished now. All I have to do is sort out the contact points, and she'll be done.

The package will include:
4 "Campaigns" of flights,
11 AI flightplans
11 Colour Schemes (4 Airbus, 2 Aeromaritime, 3 NASA, 2 Aerospacelines)
Generic Panel & Sound
Additions to the default FS documentation.
