What about a 727-100

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

What about a 727-100

Postby immase » Tue Dec 07, 2004 9:35 pm

I am trully disapointed that nobody makes his effort to do a proper Boeing 727-100 PAX or Cargo ... this is the original plane... all I see is the 727-200 arounf FS...
By the Way... do you know that there is a beautiful company called Air Gemini, Based in Angola.. with those gorgeous colors?! Yellow and Red, with elephants as a Logo. Check it out>>>>>>

You sure you're looking in all the appropriate places? If you do a search on '727-100' over at Avsim, you'll find loads of the things!

immase,
The textures that you are finding are for the payware 727-100 . You will need to buy it from captian sim, witch is the original model and then request a repiant of the Gemini livery. the cost of it is around $29.00 but the cost is wirth it. I bught it a month ago.

ok... i see. well i love the job done in captain sim... but i think that the rest of the people wont have the same thoughts on a payware software. The problem is that i wanted this livery not only for me... but, for the rest of the world to have a chance.
yeah... i'll probably buy this Captain Sim. I like the details! huge work done! nice!

Thats a pretty rude thing to say. Designers on this site spend a long time making the aicraft they want to make and you say your "dissapointed" that they don't make something you wanna make.
Now if something goes without saying, then why do people say it??

you didn't get the point. what i am trying to say is that i am disapointed because i am looking like crazy for a freeware 727-100 for fs2004. And all the search i've come up so far resulted only on 727-200!!! i mean... I downloaded lots of 727-200, and they are really well made! FREEWARE!!!  with all the details... liveries and stuff... and when it comes to the 100 versions... NOTHING... only payware... see the point.
If people can do amazing 727-200 why isn't there any 727-100... It can appear somewhere, but WHERE????!!!
My intention is not criticise the work done by modellers nor painters... no! it's just weird that a 727-100 does not appear anywhere while the 727-200 appears everywhere!!!
I really appreciate the work done by repainters and modellers...
If you got the wrong idea of my comment I have to apologize!
It is not my intention!

I know that because my father's airline owns 727-100

Why do you want to simulate one when you can fly in one any time u like?  ???

Im damnsure theres one in SimV, you'll just have to repaint it in ur textures

cheers

Yea, theres one on simV for fs2000, but thats crap  ;)

Why don't you just sit in the jump seat while your dad flies? It's better than sitting at home ;D

It's odd that such an aircraft should have so few models made of it.
I'll see what I can do about the lack of a good freeware one, but no promises though.

I've been looking round for a decent -100 as well, so I can bypass my usual request process, and go straight into project evaluation. I can't find any 3-views, but if I create a -200 first, and then downscale it with a side view I have, then I should get round it. I'll keep you posted.
