X-29 for FS9

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

X-29 for FS9

Postby TacitBlue » Tue Nov 23, 2004 12:01 am

I found one for fs2k2, but I havent d/l'd it yet 'cause Im at work. However the description says that it is modeled after something in a japanese anime show, so I doubt it will be anything like the real X-29. Anyway, I think someone should build one for FS9.

So, I guess we are alone in our love of the X-29, igorski.

I remember that X-29! It's an early Kazunori Ito airplane! I don't remember much else, but I think it's ok.

Hey, thats correct, it was an Ito model, I've just taken a look and its not fully compatible with FS9,  but it you can still fly it. The visual model is accurate, its just the paint scheme thats fictional... so if anyone's interested i'll put "make accurate repaint of X-29" on my To Do list  :D

It does not have VC, but i mean that when you load it up for the first time, you get the "This aircraft has unsupported features... would you like to disable...." message, but if you click no, then it works fine anyway.

I wouldnt say its difficult  :) It can be a challenge, and can take patience. But it is rewarding in the end.
