Drop Tanks

im not sure this si the right place to ask....
but i noticed that FS9 has the command to release drop tanks and i was wondering if anybody has made aircraft that use this feature?

I hadn't noticed that. The key command might be carried over from CFS2. Drop tanks in CFS2 can be added in the DP file as an external weapon & jettisoned at will. The DP file is not recognised by FS so I doubt the tanks would display visually even on a CFS2 aircraft with a suitable DP. It might be possible to add the CFS2 AIR file entries so dropping the tanks registers on the fuel gauges. If so this could be done to any aircraft.

theres in keyboard assignments find line somewhere on the bottom - tanks drop 1 or 2 ,put any key u want and va la
but there is no effects of droppindg tanks in sim.
