CFS1 Scasm Planes

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

CFS1 Scasm Planes

Postby tiger63 » Thu Jul 01, 2004 8:21 pm

I found out about the "Scasm fix" not too long ago that fixes the problems with AI planes' animations (like the missing gear). I've downloaded the tutorials and looked over them but I just don't understand Hex  ??? . Does anyone know where I can find some of these Scasm planes or would anybody be willing to do this to a few planes for me? or even a hex tutorial would help.

Thanks

Will

Hi Will. I tried this myself before deciding it was too much for me. Then CFS2 was released & I forgot all about CFS1. As I recall there weren't too many SCASM edited aircraft released for CFS1. I can't think of one offhand.

The SCASM editing gurus like Corrado La Posta & Bruce Thorson working with designers like Mauro Giacomazzi all concentrated on CFS2 & there are many fine examples of their work. When Gmax & FSDS2 came along it made it all unnessary anway.

PS. Corrado posted some of his CFS1 SCASM aircraft here. http://www.isoliti4gatti.com/CFS1scasm.htm
Also his SCASM editing tutes if you haven't seen them.

PPS. Note that the SCASM edited aircraft are intended for use as AI drones.
