What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

B1b Lancer for FS9

OK I know this plane is out there, but I forgot the link to the website to acquire it!

Now I understand there is a patch you have to install to get it to fly right in FS9. So does this mean I have to go to the site and download all the crap that comes with this plane.

The aircraft naked
The skins for the plane
the soundfile
the sidewinder fix
the updated cfg
then finally the FS9 patch

If I got go through all this I aint bothering with this aircraft. Please tell me I3D team atleast created a whole new package just for FS9 that has everything you will need to just download and go in one step!  ???

I tried I3Dproject.com, I3d.com and I can't find it!

Can someone please provide the link to their website?

Thanks HABU  ;D

She still has problems taking off though? What am I doing wrong she is slow going down the runway!

I off from HONOLULU Intl on the longest runway and this plane from one to the other end only reaches 160 knots and that is not enough speed for it to take off :o ??? I keep over running the runway and winding up in the drink  :-/

Did I install something wrong. The guages in the cockpit are out of sinc and out of position. The afterburners display when I turn on the lights. The plane is just plain old sluggish on take offs! Whats going on  :'(

the Bone isn't working very well on my system either. when i get airborne, the rudder starts spinning and the plane becomes uncontrolable.

now i see you can't get airborne...at 80kts, you have to engage your afterburners! if you forgot that, that might be the cause...

Mr.bones

did you install the sidewinder patch because that happened to me when It wasn't installed. But my sidewinder works now, but I still wonder.

I set a flight out of Honolulu INtl (longest runway i know) on runway 4 to the north. The plane actually ran off the runway and sort of hit a ramp at the end that assisted in the plane taking off! Then when it did get up it kinked to the right I was unable to change course with the sidewinder controller. The stick wasn't responding.

That was with the sidewinder patch. Without the patch as soon as the plane ran down the runway and I moved the sidewinder the plane rudder started flopping out of control and it crashed!

So I don't know what to do to this plane now. I don't know how the Bone in that video I saw took off and had afterburner control established with full thrust on the throttle. Then to make it looks like it was fixed the plane made a dive and maintain low level flight at high speeds. It took off at the very end of the runway and landed safely which sold me to go get it.

The bone is still a crappy patched up plane that still has bugs in it and will remain in the hanger catching dust until they fix her up! She is a beautiful plane though! I wish I could swap the cfg with a swing wing jet, But that wouldn't be realistic for such a big plane.

My opinion

Salut Mav, is that what you want to do?

This is an insert of one of my posts.

"Sam, I too hard a hard time with the B1. Try full flaps (F8...) and afterburners (CTRL+F4?... I think). Second time around for me worked. Tricky aircraft to fly. Very stable = low manoeuvrability. But great effects."

Try it. The pic was my first ever posted here. No tricks!

of course i installed the force feedback fix (which worked fine).

like you say, the plane is still full with bugs, compared to other planes. i was one of the happy few that had the beta version. although the skin didn't look so nice as the alpha version, it flew ten times better...

lets hope I3D will ever come up with a 100% good flying model!  ;)

Well I am going to pray for that day to come. But I aint going to sweat about it. This plane is awesome but like all experimentals. It too will remain in the hanger until a fix comes out. I will just have to go in there and dust her off every once in awhile.

I can get off the ground now, but staying up there is the trick!
