Founier RF-4 Motorglider, Bell X-1, & BKII7

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

Founier RF-4 Motorglider, Bell X-1, & BKII7

Well I looked thru the threads and didnt see any on these craft..........I did find an RF-4 Motorglider some time back, but the link never worked and it never showed up again.
Then there's the Bell X-1 which I've never seen at any site, and I have seen a few BK117's (Medi-vac heli's)
but they were either for much older sims that I dont have or they were very poorly done, and no VC.
I'd like to see them for either FS2k2, or Fs9. :)

Well I found a few pic's of the real RF-4, it's quite a unique glider indeed and it's pretty special to me, as my very first R/C plane was a styrofoam Cox .049 model of this motorglider, and was what I learned on.
(and boy did I learn, ::), hehe,..... both R/C flying & re-building styrofoam w/epoxy. ;D )

There does exist an X-1, although it was originally for FS2000.  I think it has a VC, and as far as I can remember it flys fairly well.  Just do a search on several different sites.  You'll find it.

as far as motorgliders go, i'm working on one myself!

it's called the Ximango, it's a brazilian motorglider with two seats
unlike the RF-4, it has three wheels (taildragger)  so you take it around as if it were no different from a cessna

it is not quite ready to fly, as i'm having countless problems with exporting the model into FS, but once i've nailed it, i'll release it for freeware use :)
If nature wanted a man to fly - It would have given him more money
