B-17 Flying Fortress

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

B-17 Flying Fortress

Postby RichieB16 » Tue Jun 03, 2003 4:11 pm

Does anyone know if there is a B-17 currently being made somewhere.  This is one of the most famous planes in aviation histroy and as far as I know, the hobby lacks a good model of one.  If anyone knows where one is, or if one is being made-please let me know.  Thanks.

Yeah, I've already tried all the B-17's here.  I was hoping that someone might have made a GMAX one recently or may be in the process.  Unfortunately, none of the B-17's here are what I'm looking for.

Yeah, I do.  Where did you get it (if the file is smaller than 4MB, you could send it to me).  Or, if you have the link for it-I would really appreciate it.

would you mind sending me this b-17 too? You would think that such a famous aircraft would have its fair share of cfs2 models. hbland_15@hotmail.com

Hey guys, the B-17 that Hellhound has is avilable here at Simviation.  I agree that it is probably the best B-17 around-but to save him from having to send out a ton of e-mails, you can get the plane (called "Lucky 7") here: http://www.simviation.com/cfs2aircraft12.htm
