Spawn point rotation

Postby Glitch » Mon Oct 01, 2007 10:19 pm

I am trying to spawn an aircraft at a certain point with a certaion rotation. Changing the heading entry in my xml code then producing the .bgl, produces no change in the heading when aircraft spawns. Here is the xml.

version="9.0"
xmlns:xsi='http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance'
xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="bglcomp.xsd">
region="North America"
country="United States"
state="Nevada"
city="Nellis AFB"
name="2nd season J2 depart"
lat="39.4107305968465"
lon="-113.52956327332"
alt="1354.8046879"
ident="K2dp">

lat="39.4107305968465"
lon="-113.52956327332"
alt="1354.8046879"
surface="UNKNOWN"
heading="12.0"
length="10"
width="10"
number="36"
designator="NONE"
patternAltitude="503.799988"
primaryTakeoff="YES"
primaryLanding="YES"
primaryPattern="LEFT"
secondaryTakeoff="NO"
secondaryLanding="YES"
secondaryPattern="LEFT">
type="HELIPAD"
lat="39.4107305968465"
lon="-113.52956327332"
alt="1354.8046879"
heading="12.0"
end="PRIMARY"/>

Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Fix is: spawn in location, go into slew mode, rotate into position,go out of slew, pause and save flight, distribute flight as spawn point as it will spawn rotated in position.

Or you could use AFCAD and change the heading of the Parking spot... ;)
