what is a flattening switch and how can i make one??

:D  Howdy,  I use a program (freebie) called flattex.  Goggle it.  It gives easy to understand instructions and prints the exclude and flatten switches for you.  You just copy and paste them into FS9 scenery.cfg.  If you flatten and/or exclude more than one location in the same area be sure to number them; i.e.  .0, .1, .2, etc.  Have fun with it, I do.

yea i tried that but i couldnt get the corrdinates to load i tried everything but the link that commoner posted really helped!!

Dave's picture examples are quite helpful if faltex won't work, although this is exclude. You might need excludes anyway!
